"Discover Shells" - A collection of shells from the Florida Keys, Guam, Nantucket Island in Massachusetts and the Hawaiian Islands is on display in the Library for the month of August. Full color books about shells are also on display to help you identify each shell and where it comes from. This shell collection is on loan from Library Director Cindy Simeon. An on-going collective poem titled Ode
to Tilden is currently placed at the front entrance inside
the Library. Talent or no talent, we invite everyone to help us
create a unique poem about life in our community, by including a
line or two. This poem will be read on September 30 at our Poetry
Jam open Mic Night. |
