Tilden Downs Kentucky Derby

Saturday, May 3rd beginning at 4pm - 7pm
in the Lied Auditorium
Tickets are $10 per person
Enjoy a light lunch & dessert, along with traditional mint julips, games and prizes, horse racing activities, and silent auction. Dress to impress and be daring wearing you favorite decorated hat for the men & ladies hat contests.

Join us on Friday, April 25 at 2 pm in the Lied Auditorium with expert gardener Ginny Werkmaster to create a "Salad Bowl" garden with herbs and vegetables. For those who would like the hands-on experience and take their Salad Bowl home with them, Ginny will have all the supplies needed for a small $10 fee. Or, you can just come to watch and learn. Ginny will also be available to answer your gardening questions or concerns.
A fun filled afternoon for all you gardeners at heart!

Join us on Wednesday, April 30 at 12 noon for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska's 8th Annual National Walk @ Lunch Day,
We will be teaming up with Tilden Insurance, the Tilden Bank, Tilden Community Hospital, and Elkhorn Valley School. At the 12 noon whistle, participants are welcome to begin their walk from the Lied Auditorium at the library, where there will be water and fruit on hand along with raffle drawings for gift certificates. For those who start their walk from another location, be sure to stop by the Lied Auditorium and register for your chance to win.
For every company and organization that signs up for this years walk, BCBSNE will donate $20 to support the Special Olympics Program and Nebraska Game & Parks. Joining us for the walk this year will be former Tilden resident Evan Davis who is active in supporting and promoting the Special Olympics program.
So do it for yourself or do it for a cause, and begin walking your way to a healthier life!
