Computer Class in Microsoft Word
We will be offering a Microsoft Word computer class thanks to additional funds available as part of the Broadband Technology grant through the Nebraska library Commission and Bill Gates Foundation, and in partnership with NECC. This is a 6 hour class consisting of two 3 hour sessions scheduled for Monday June 17 and Thursday June 20 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm in the library computer lab. This grant funded class will be open to the general public at no charge; however, due to the limited seating in the library’s computer lab, prior registration is required. Those interested can call 402-368-5306 or come by the library to sign up.
Dig into reading with the Summer Reading Program the week of June 17 - 21, 2013.
Registration will begin on May 20 for children age 2 - 10 years.
The Summer Reading Program schedule is
Monday - Friday from 10:30 - 11:30am.

Entries are requested for the 11th annual “Pieces of the Good Life” quilt show,
which will be held in the Lied Auditorium at the Raymond A. Whitwer Tilden Public Library during the Tilden Prairie Days celebration on July 27 – 29, 2013. Mary Duffy from O’Neil, NE will give this year’s trunk show presentation on Sunday July 29th at 4:00 pm in the library by the fireplace.
